Our shared faith in Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior is what primarily defines us as a church and directs our life together as Christians. Our beliefs are historic, protestant, Baptist and evangelical.

Our beliefs have a few distinctives:

1. The Supremacy of God – The Bible describes God as sovereign over all people, places, and times
2. The Grace of God – Even though man is unable to cleanse himself from sin, God has shown us lavish, unmerited grace through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. We take hold of God’s grace by faith alone in Christ alone.
3. The Reliability of the Bible – The Bible is God’s inerrant, authoritative word and is a trustworthy guide for all of life. For what this means in detail please see the Chicago Statement on Biblical Inerrancy.
4. Personal Faith in Jesus Christ – No one is born a Christian but must be born again through faith in Christ. More about this can be found HERE.
5. The Importance of the Body of Christ – Our faith is personal but not private. Christians are meant to live in committed fellowship in a local church.
